Name: Petr Gearsov (though he introduces himself as, and maintains an alias of "Pryce Gearson")
Age: You try keeping track when you are alone in the bleak emptiness of Antarctican expanse for unknown period of years. That said.. best estimate is mid, late thirties.

Backstory: russian dude who's always had a knack for invention; started out notably by converting the functionality of a refrigerator into a pair of gauntlets at the age of 12. Thermal research would become his passion later in life, and with his degree newly earned he signed on to a lab in Antarctica. The locale encouraged him to revisit the old refrigerator gauntlets idea, in the form of making a suit of power armor that could replicate Antarctic conditions and therefore be used to forcibly punch climate change into line.
things seemed to be going pretty great! he'd gotten the suit into it's final testing stages and most importantly the lab supervisor hadn't caught onto his secret project, as they maintained a strict "no building anything that could be construed as part of a super villain's origin story" policy.
then, as things in antarctica are wont to do, everything went horribly wrong, most everybody died, and petr ended up with the suit fused to his skin.
situation forecast: grim, with a 70% chance of impending death. being the resourceful fellow he was, though, petr raced to modify the suit into something that could sustain life for an unfortunate schmuck permanently encased within it. the short of it: he succeeded! hurray!
